I was recommended by a friend to purchase these clip-ins and I’m so glad I made the investment! The first photo is me with my natural hair. The second photo (glasses, side part, in a grey-blue room with a cream colored sweater) was the photo i took right after getting a light press at the salon and having them installed. My stylist also lightly pressed and curled the hair. They held a curl super well (a little too well lol) and even after my silk press grew out, the hair continued to blend pretty naturally. The hair is naturally a darkish-brown, and is a bit lighter than my natural hair so in sunlight there is a bit of differentiation. However, my hair is long-ish (about 14-inches) and I purchased the 18-inch clips so it still blended fairly well. Super minimal shedding, very comfortable in my head and easy to install. I used a silk/satin scarf after install to minimize frizz and create a more seamless blend. The only time I used all clips was when it was installed at the salon. Also, generally I did not sleep in my clip-ins, but I was able to do so on nights where I needed a quicker transition in the morning. There was very minimal styling needed the next day aside from maybe some edge gel and light brushing. I have used both a hair dryer and flat iron (with heat protectant) on these clips and the hair still responds the same! Overall, I love these clips-ins for the added density and length to my natural hair!

I have been loving my kinky course wefts from Melanj. I’ve been a customer for 2 years now and I have not been disappointed.
During purchase the date was March 28 and now it April 10 - 17th. This is annoying. Idk if I’ll even get to try it.
Everyone, including my mother, thought this was my 4c hair. The quality is excellent. I also bought the wefts and dyed them and have had them installed twice. This hair is perfect for low maintenance, easy to style with water and your favorite curl gel (opt for high quality, I like Uncle Funkys Daughter Curl Magic.) you will love this.
I love these clip-ins!! They match perfectly to my hair. I don’t have to straighten my real hair at all.

This hair is supreme, I love the texture and how it matches effortlessly with my natural hair texture. It does not tangle using the right product and also washes well with minimal shedding. Buy it if your on the fence worth the investment!!

This hair is gorgeous and blends well, but it sheds and holds no curl.
Out of the box, the hair is pretty. I smelled chemicals immediately, and I should have sent it right back because, from my experience, hair that smells that strongly never holds for long (it smelled of chemicals even after 3 months of washing). I was right. It definitely gives a very full look with one clip-in bundle. The curl pattern is more of a looser zig-zag than cork screw. If you're experienced with blending, you can work with it, but if your curl pattern is ringlets/spiral, this isn't a match. It sheds easily before even installing. I was more gentle with this hair than any bundles I've ever had, and still, it only lasted 3 months. I didn't use heavy styling creams. I washed gently weekly. The hair was coming out in clumps until it was so thin I looked sick. I bought this hair because I AM sick and my hair is thinning due to my autoimmune disease. Now I've wasted $300 plus.
Have had this hair for 3 months and I’m so glad that I invested in Melanj Hair. I love the company name printed on the inside of the clips, they’re comfortable and the hair mimics down to the curl of my natural hair and the shrinkage afterwards. There is minimal shedding and I’ve been able to make ponytails, French braids and other styles with this hair and people have commented that my hair is so thick and pretty! I just send them to Melanj website!

was a bit thrown off at first by how dense it was when I first received it but after styling it, it’s definitely worth it! I don’t have a lot of experience with wigs and thought it’d be ready to use straight out of the box but especially due to the texture, you have to be prepared to style, ie melt, straighten, cut, etc before use. Also if you have a smaller face/frame, the density might be overwhelming and you may opt to thin it out. Overall I’m happy with this hair as it really works well with my hair and looks soo natural which is exactly what I want !
I LIKE the hair……the inches were longer then I expected. I bought the 16” and 18.” I’m satisfied.
Definitely worth the money. I purchased with this company around the holidays and my package was lost. This insurance came in handy. Worth every penny for a guaranteed peace of mind.
LOVVVEEEEEE THIS HAIR!!!!!!! Its blends soooo well! I get so many compliments. The upkeep is seamless. I can do wash n go and it last days without having to put product in my hair again. When I do use product I just use water and gel and I’m all good!

This hair is the TRUTH! If you want to have blow dried 4C hair, this is it. Most kinky straight is shiny and wavy like a Caucasian did a braid out. Some yaki are too ripply and don't hold a curl. This coarse kinky straight texture starts close to the weft and is pretty consistent throughout. The hair smells good, so I didn't even bother to wash it. The bundles are full. 2 bundles 16" or less can do a typical sew-in with a small center part. I would get 3 bundles for 18"+. The hair is great quality; length appears natural and even looking; and cuticles seem aligned. I sell hair from a factory, so I am familiar with what to look for. I'm so excited about how natural this looks on my 4C natural hair. It's expensive, but I would definitely buy it again. Even the stylist who did my install asked for the ordering information. I got about 3 customers for Melanj just from sitting there. I'll try to submit a picture when I take out the flexirods.
I love the coil curl weft because it look so natural. I just wish I could find the right product to use .
